I am very new to shooting with a sight but found this to be an easy adaptation. Very tight grouping on my shots. Would have been way easier to have the adaptor plate included but other than that great product.
Takes a little while to get use to finding the sight triangle, not for quick sighting. The mounting plate screws are a little short, needed to be about 1/16" longer. Do like the product, will order again, in the future.
Great sight, durable, no batteries, tactical. However target acquisition seems to be a little more difficult compared to regular night sights. I’ve read it’s because of the micros smaller size. Overall a great product.
The sight arrived safely within 17 days to Germany. I chose the Delta reticle. I like the principle of this sight really much. However, it really needs training to find the reticle quickly on a pistol. Often you'll find yourself searching it in the edge glow material. I wish there was done something that guides the eye towards the tip of the triangle (maybe a few tiny lines on the edge glow material pointing into the direction of the reticle's tip).
Additionally, when my pistol-holding arm is stretched out completely the reticle is magnified so much that it fills out a lot of the "window". This makes it sometimes even harder to correctly establish a good aim because all I see is black. Decreasing the reticle size or increasing the lense size a tad might be enough to fix (I know, bigger lense might result in a too bulky sight for a pistol).
I also mounted the SeeAllOpenSight Mk3 onto my AR15 using an RMR Picatinny plate. I must say, on a rifle it's excellent! Here a bigger lense would be more justifiable...
The edge glow material on my sight has a tiny inclusion around the reticle, which bugs me a bit. I also wish the tritium vial was perfectly centered behind the reticle. I will have to live with these little production flaws.
Although my review may seem very "fault-finding", all in all, I can recommend trying out this sighting system! I will for sure invest more training to become proficient in shooting with it on my guns.
I am looking forward to seeing the next evolution of SeeAll's open sights! Great job so far, guys :)
