I had been looking at this sight for a while. Finally bit the bullet and purchased one to mount onto my SW22 Victory. I shoot target at 10 to 25 yards with this pistol and for this purpose I think the sight is wonderful. It did take me a little bit to get used to the new sight picture but I find there is less eye strain compared to iron sights and the cheap red dot I had been using.
If I was shooting some kind of speed challenge I don't think I would use this sight; at least not without a lot of practice acquiring the sight picture. The "window" is smaller than the window on the cheap reflex optic I was using before and I find it takes me longer to get everything lined up right. But don't let that deter you, it's plenty accurate.
In summary, it's a nice easy-to-use optic and I find it easy on my eyes but in a speed shooting situation I am slower. If all your doing is target shooting and you aren't racing a clock, give it a try. I'm quite happy with mine.
I haven't put it on my rifle of Ruger mark 3, but i like the looks of it. The price was great thanks. Del
